This one-day workshop is perfect for beginners and hat enthusiasts alike. Under my guidance, you will discover the traditional techniques used by professional milliners to transform a wool felt hood into a beautifully crafted hat that is uniquely yours.
Choose to make a classic Fedora, elegant Cloche or stylish Trilby. Throughout the day, you will learn how to shape felt using steam, work with traditional wooden hat blocks, refine and finish your hat, and add your own personalised trim and detailing.
By the end of the workshop, you will leave with a finished hat that you have made yourself, along with the knowledge and confidence to understand the fundamentals of felt hat making.
