  • Ready-to-wear hats and headpieces available for immediate purchase.
  • Bespoke commissions created to a customer’s specific requirements.

All our physical products are handcrafted and may vary slightly from photographs displayed on our website.

Ordering

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase a product subject to these Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary, including where products are unavailable, pricing errors occur, or fraudulent activity is suspected.

An order is only accepted once payment has been received and confirmation has been issued.

Bespoke Commissions

Bespoke commissions are individually designed and handmade to your specific requirements.

As each bespoke piece is unique:

  • Full payment is required before work commences.
  • Production will begin only after payment has been received.
  • Standard lead times are approximately 15–21 working days, although this may vary during busy periods.
  • Lead times provided are estimates and may occasionally be affected by material availability or circumstances beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding colours, measurements, event dates and design requirements.

Once production has begun, bespoke orders cannot be cancelled or amended without our agreement.

Payments

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice; however, any confirmed order will be honoured at the price paid at the time of purchase.

Colours, Materials and Design Variations

We make every effort to display colours accurately on our website. However, colours may appear differently depending on individual screen settings and devices.

As our products are handcrafted, slight variations in colour, shape, trim placement, natural materials and finishing details may occur. These variations are not considered faults and contribute to the individuality of each piece.

Delivery

We deliver within the United Kingdom and internationally.

Delivery times provided are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery rests with the courier service. We are not liable for delays caused by postal services, customs processing, adverse weather conditions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery details are accurate.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, local charges or fees imposed by their country.

Returns and Refunds

Ready-to-Wear Items

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers purchasing ready-to-wear items online may cancel their order within 14 days of receiving their goods.

Returned items must:

  • Be unworn and unused.
  • Be in their original condition.
  • Be returned in their original packaging.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

Refunds will be processed after inspection of the returned item.

Bespoke and Made-to-Order Items

As bespoke and made-to-order products are created specifically to a customer’s requirements, they are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation rights under UK consumer law.

Therefore:

  • Bespoke commissions are non-refundable.
  • Once work has commenced, payments cannot be refunded.
  • Bespoke items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Faulty Items

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We may request photographs and further information to assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy.

Hat Hire

Hat hire bookings are subject to availability.

Hire periods, deposits, return dates and replacement costs for lost or damaged items will be confirmed separately at the time of booking.

Hired items remain the property of Rose Collins Millinery at all times.

Customers are responsible for returning hired items in the condition in which they were supplied.
